Silex Print Servers

All users in a local area network (LAN) can use the options of a Canon multifunction printer - printing, scanning, saving, plus the PC fax functionality – with this C-series SILEX print server. All 10 available functions are supported – every user can use the Canon status monitor to check paper and ink status and other messages as if the device was locally attached to the PC.

In addition to working in USB 2.0 Hi-Speed mode, this print server provides optimum integration of Canon printers and multifunction devices also in wireless mode into the office or home office environments. This SILEX print server can be used in both wireless or wired mode. In wired mode, the C-6700WG works with Fast Ethernet or Ethernet speed, in wireless mode it supports the 802.11b and 802.11g standards.

The SILEX C-6200U print server was especially developed for Canon USB printers. The external USB interface easily and reliably networks your Canon ink jet, CAPT laser printer, or PIXMA multifunction printer.

All C-series SILEX print servers (C = for Canon printers) are fully compatible with the Canon printer status monitor and provide all information as if the printer was locally attached to the PC. Using a Canon multifunction printer with the SILEX C-6200U enables the user to scan documents and use a memory card from within a network.

The SILEX-PocketPro is an inexpensive and powerful print server for fast and reliable network printing applications. As a multiprotocol print server, it is the perfect way to connect any parallel printer to a 10Base-T Ethernet or 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet. In doing so, it automatically adapts to the type of connection.

The PocketPro improves the users' productivity by reducing print waiting times and optimum use of the printer speed. Since the PocketPro is independent of the printer it provides the flexibility to use printers as needed without having to worry about network services.

The SILEX-PocketBasic is a powerful, compact print server with a direct parallel connection to the printer. The print server supports 10Base-T Ethernet and 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet and automatically adapts to the type of connection.

Updating the print server is very easy, so that expansions or changes to the network can be integrated at any time. A central download saves valuable time.

The series SX-200 print servers let multiple users share one USB or parallel-port printer via a wired or wireless network. This allows the users to fully utilize the benefits of maximum printing speeds and less waiting time due to shorter printing queues. The WLAN version also includes dual-band (2.4/5GHz) Tri-Mode 802.11a/b/g technology, giving the user the option to use the frequency band with the smallest load.

The SX-1000U USB Device Server (Full Speed) is an especially cost-efficient option for attaching multifunction printers and many other USB devices to a network. Using the SX-1000U, USB devices like scanners, printers, storage solutions, digital cameras, or multifunction devices can be easily attached to a network and many of their functions used. The SX-1000U makes working with USB devices very easy.

The USB Device Server SX-2000U2 (Hi-Speed) integrates – among other USB devices – the use of especially many features of multifunction printers (MFP) into a network.

Printing, scanning, faxing, saving. – The SILEX USB Device Servers make the work with scanners, printers, storage solutions, multifunction devices, and digital cameras in the network especially comfortable.

The USB Device Server SX-2000WG+ – like the SX-2000U2 – can be used to attach different types of USB devices to a local area network (LAN). Scanners, printers, digital cameras, memory sticks, and multifunction devices can be used as if they were attached directly to a PC. The SX-2000WG+ supports USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, to status information, and allows for the configuration and use of the device – depending on the USB device's capacities.

This USB device server has the special feature of being able to operate in wireless or wired mode. The wireless mode offers the 802.11b- and the 11g standard. In addition to IP filtering, this server supports the latest WLAN security encryptions: WPA2, WPA and WEP.

The SILEX H-260U high-performance print server was specifically developed to connect two printers to one network: one HP printer with an EIO slot and one other USB printer of choice. Network two printers at the cost and comfort of only one print server.
