Silex NetDA-1

NetDA-1 connects displays with VGA interfaces into wired or wireless networks, turning them into remote controllable additional screens. Up to six displays can be connected to a computer using six NetDA-1 units, and managed centrally. Transmission of screen content can be via Ethernet interface or using the IEEE 802.11b/g wireless standards.

Displays can be arbitrarily controlled within the network environment and can display identical or different screen contents. Even touch screens and interactive boards can be connected and used through the network. A display can also be used from all network computers in sequence. In addition, USB interfaces can be used to integrate not only a mouse, keyboard and storage media over the network, but many other USB devices as well. The NetDA-1 is ideal for the management of patient data, presentations in talks and seminars, product presentations in stores or fast, simple transmission of audiovisual data for shared use in conferences and office environments. Shared use of a projector in meetings, for example, can eliminate tedious unplugging of VGA cables.

Silex ND-1-EVK

The ND-1-EVK is an evaluation kit for network display adaptor (NetDA) that allows a standard display monitor to remotely show the desktop image from a client PC on a wired or wireless network. One client PC can be connected with up to six separate NetDA devices to show either the same or a diffrent desktop image. The ND-1-EVK also enables any USB device such as a mouse or a keyboard to be remotely available for use from the PC, providing providing a highly interactive and real-time virtual desktop experience. Silex can deliver the technology or final product individually customised to the need of the manufacturer. Technical specifications such as the maximum resolution, quantity of USB interfaces, or wireless standards (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) can easily be customized.

No more running back and forth, switching cables or dealing with cable clutter. The iPod is updated by simply pressing the button on the wiDock. Synchronization can also be initiated from the computer via iTunes.
