Mapping your Keyboard to Save Time and Money
Question:
What is the Keyboard Mapper?
Answer:
The Keyboard Mapper is a tool that lets you reprogram what a key does in TinyTERM. You can use it to set a single key to enter multiple commands, or even to run a TinyTERM script. Instructions are in chapter 3 of the Quick Start Guide .
Question:
I need to map the same function to several keys, with only minor changes to each one. Is there some way to speed up the process so I don't have to type the same thing over and over again?
Answer:
Yes. Once you've mapped the first key, use the mouse to drag it to the Clipboard in the Keyboard Mapper. You'll find it in the lower left -hand corner of the "Edit Keyboard Map" dialog box. This copies the entire key to the clipboard. You can then drag the Clipboard to any number of keys, making them all the same. Once that's done, click on each of the keys you remapped to change them individually.
