EzeScan Microsoft SharePoint Integration
EzeScan has been providing advanced batch document scanning solutions to document management clients since 2002. With native SharePoint integration, EzeScan enables documents to be seamlessly profiled into Microsoft SharePoint.
This means an easy "out of the box solution" can be used with any TWAIN or ISIS scanner, or MFD (multi-function device) to provide an effective way to batch scan documents, forms and invoices, and tackle those challenging scanning issues that come across your desk every day.

- in a personal workstation solution, with a single scanner and desktop
- in a community solution, using separate scanning and indexing workstations
- in an enterprise server solution, where a number of input devices can be monitored for upload of images and metadata to various output systems including Microsoft SharePoint.
The EzeScan solution begins with the base PRO package (which includes batch separator technology, inbuilt OCR, and FOI support). It can then be extended to suit your specific document scanning requirements through the addition of the optional indexing and automated capture technologies designed to reduce the time it takes the operator to scan and profile documents.

How does the Microsoft SharePoint integration work?
EzeScan Pro
Use EzeScan PRO to scan one or more documents and place the output files into a local document queue. A SharePoint importer tool can then import the files into SharePoint.
EzeScan Pro + EDRMS
Use EzeScan PRO to scan one or more documents and profile each document directly into SharePoint from EzeScan using the EzeScan EDRMS SharePoint connector.
Document registration is initiated from within EzeScan itself using the EzeScan EDRMS connector. The operator can browse to the required SharePoint system folder, then save the file with the required filename. This provides a quick method of profiling batches of unstructured or structured documents into SharePoint.
EzeScan DM Bundle
The EzeScan DM Bundle combines the previous options 1 and 2 with the additional flexibility of being able to scan and profile documents, forms & invoices directly into SharePoint from EzeScan, bypassing the standard SharePoint document registration form.
The KFI module indexing form replaces the SharePoint registration form. The UPLOAD module uploads each document into SharePoint without displaying a registration form.
With this configuration you can type in a field value, choose a lookup list value, or capture field values from documents (using the inbuilt OCR module, or optional BCR or ICR modules), then populate the SharePoint index fields. You also have the choice to reuse fields automatically, thereby saving considerable time not having to reselect the same values.
