EzeScan Objective Integration
EzeScan has been providing advanced batch document scanning solutions to document management clients since 2002. With native Objective integration, EzeScan enables documents to be seamlessly profiled into Objective.
This means an easy "out of the box solution" can be used with any TWAIN or ISIS scanner, or MFD (multi-function device) to provide an effective way to batch scan documents, forms and invoices, and tackle those challenging scanning issues that come across your desk every day.
EzeScan can also provide a combination of solutions to suit your needs:
- in a personal workstation solution, with a single scanner and desktop
- in a community solution, using separate scanning and indexing workstations
- in an enterprise server solution, where a number of input devices can be monitored for upload of images and metadata to various output systems including Objective.
The EzeScan solution begins with the base PRO package (which includes batch separation, inbuilt OCR, and FOI support). You can then extend the solution to further suit your specific document scanning requirements, through the addition of the optional indexing and automated capture modules, which are designed to reduce the time taken by an operator to scan and profile documents.
EzeScan also supports many advanced Objective features including:
- Population of all default and custom catalogue metadata, keywords and file series IDs
- Auto creation of sub files and electronic objects
- Redaction (FOI) and version control
- Objective Document link
- Classifications and Workflows.

How does the Objective integration works?
EzeScan pro
Use EzeScan PRO to scan one or more documents and place the output files into an Objective input queue. Profiling is initiated from within Objective and document profiling/registration is carried out using a standard Objective registration form.
EzeScan + EDRMS
Use EzeScan PRO to scan one or more documents and profile each document directly into Objective from EzeScan. Profiling is initiated from within EzeScan and document profiling/registration is still carried out using a standard Objective registration form.
This provides a quick method of profiling batches of unstructured or structured documents into Objective.
EzeScan DM Bundle
The EzeScan DM Bundle combines the previous options 1 and 2 with the additional flexibility of being able to scan and profile documents, forms & invoices directly into Objective from EzeScan, bypassing the standard Objective registration form.
The KFI module indexing form replaces the Objective profile form. The UPLOAD module uploads each document into Objective without displaying a registration form.
With this configuration you can type in a field value, choose a lookup list value, or capture field values from documents (using the inbuilt OCR module, or optional BCR or ICR modules), then populate the Objective index fields. You also have the choice to reuse fields automatically, thereby saving considerable time not having to reselect the same values.
This provides the fastest method of profiling batches of documents into Objective. Buy the modules you need today, safe in the knowledge that you can purchase an upgrade for other modules, like Barcoding or ICR, at a later time.
