Ingres and Global Open Source Leaders Converge in Australia

Inaugural Ingres SPLASH Conference Brings Together the World's Commercial Open Source Leaders to Share Insights with Australian Technology Companies

SYDNEY, Australia - August 3, 2010 - Ingres Corporation, the leading open source database management company and pioneer of the New Economics of IT, announced today that the inaugural SPLASH Conference, to be held in Sydney on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, will unite leaders from Ingres, Jaspersoft, Liferay, Sugar CRM, Pentaho and Red Hat to share insights with Australian technology companies.

The SPLASH Conference will enable Australian systems integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) to learn from some of the world's leading open source architects and visionaries how to build and further integrate open source software into their customer environments and technology offerings. Conference attendees provide technology solutions and services to some of Australia's largest organisations, including the finance, telecommunications and retail sectors.
