Via the built-in TWAIN bridge ExactScan also allows to scan with many third-party scanners that come with an OS X compatible TWAIN data source.

All ExactScan versions are compatible with OCR software: Adobe Acrobat, Iris ReadIris and Omnipage as well as the document management solution DEVONtechologies Devonthink – for a comfortable and streamlined office workflow with Mac OS X.

Indicated speed ratings are maximal hardware limits as specified by the manufacturer under test-lab conditions and may vary with hardware revision, Macintosh hardware, operating system version and ExactScan software version.
ExactScan is also compatible with FUJITSU, KODAK, AVISION, and OKI models.
ExactScan works with some BROTHER, DELL, CANON, EPSON,RICOH models, in TWAIN mode.
