Captiva PixTools SDKPixTools capabilitiesScanning:PixTools SDKs allow developers to embed ISIS scanning into any application, providing programmatic control of the entire scanning process and every scanner feature. Developers can easily: capture, save, and compress images to popular industry file formats including TIFF, JPG, and PDF; accommodate multi- or single-page documents; and incorporate imprinting, document separation, MultiStream, and auto-color detection into their capture applications. Viewing:With PixTools-enabled applications, users can manage hundreds of documents efficiently and utilize image display, file conversion, image compression, and image annotation features. During or after scanning, users may deploy display enhancements such as zoom, rotate, or scale-to-gray. An image annotation library enhances documents with highlighting, redaction, arrows, custom stamps, and pop-up text "sticky notes" in a variety of colors for increased clarity. Annotations are fully programmable, support the Wang imaging standard, and offer full security customization. In addition to production scanning, the ISIS architecture provides built-in image management that enables enhanced performance over third-party viewers. Image processing:PixTools-based applications enable thorough document clean-up to reduce file size, improve image clarity, and improve downstream data recognition and extraction functions. Built-in image processing filters allow users to crop, correct angle skew, and remove noise. PixTools features the ability to lock aspect ratios, allowing users to accurately scale and re-size documents. PixTools also includes data recognition capabilities such as barcode (1D and 2D), patchcode, and blank page. |
